Book on WhatsAppWhere to use it
Put the link everywhere a patient decides to book
One link, used in many places, means every request lands in the same WhatsApp chat list your team already checks.
Your website
Add the button to the header, every treatment page and the contact page, so nobody has to scroll to find a way to book.
Instagram bio and stories
Put the link in your bio and use a link sticker on stories about a treatment or a free slot this week.
Reception desk and waiting room
Print the QR code on a small stand so patients can book their next visit before they leave.
Visiting cards and prescriptions
A small QR code on the back of a card or a follow-up slip makes the next appointment one scan away.
Google listing posts
Mention booking on WhatsApp in your posts and updates, and keep your phone number on the listing up to date.
Replies to messages and emails
When someone asks for a time by email or a comment, send the link so the request lands in one place.
How it works
What happens when a patient taps the link
The link uses WhatsApp's own click to chat address, wa.me, followed by your number in international format and your message. When a patient taps it on a phone, WhatsApp opens a chat with your clinic and puts your message in the text box. On a computer it opens WhatsApp Web or the desktop app.
The patient fills in their name, a day and time that suits them and the reason for the visit, then presses send. Your team sees the request in WhatsApp, replies with a confirmed time and adds it to your diary as usual.
For a clinic that takes most bookings by phone, this removes two common problems: the patient has to call during opening hours, and the person who answers has to ask the same questions every time. With a written request, the details arrive in one message and can be answered when the front desk is free.
Tips that make it work better
- Use the same WhatsApp number everywhere: website, Instagram, Google listing and print.
- Reply quickly during clinic hours, and set an away message in WhatsApp Business for evenings and Sundays that says when you will reply.
- Keep the message short. A long message makes a dense QR code that is harder to scan from a printed card.
- Never ask for medical details in the first message. Name, preferred time and the type of visit are enough.
- Test the link and the printed QR code on two different phones before you put them up.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is this tool free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit. The link, the QR code and the button code are yours to use anywhere.
Do you store my number or message?
No. The link and QR code are made in your browser on this page. Nothing you type is sent to us or saved.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. The link uses WhatsApp's own click to chat format (wa.me), which opens a chat with any WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business number.
Why does the number need the country code?
WhatsApp asks for the full number in international format, without the plus sign, a leading zero, brackets or dashes. For India that means 91 followed by the 10-digit mobile number.
Will the message send by itself?
No. The message appears in the patient's chat box, ready to fill in. They add their details and press send, so nothing goes out without them.
Does the link change if I change my message later?
Yes. The message is part of the link. If you edit it, make a new link and QR code and replace the old ones on your website and print.
Can this replace a booking system?
For a small clinic it is a simple first step: requests arrive in WhatsApp and your team confirms a time. It does not check your calendar. If you want booking that confirms slots, reminders or answers after hours, that is a bigger setup.
Want to know what else is costing you bookings?
A WhatsApp link is a quick win. We can look at your website, Google listing and Instagram and tell you what else stops patients from booking. Free report by email, or a free 15-minute call.
